Services

WHAT QUALIFIES A CHILD FOR THE PPEC PROGRAM?

Children from birth to 20 years of age with medically complex conditions that require ongoing nursing care, including but not limited to the following:
Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Seizure Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, Congenital Heart Defects, Muscular Dystrophy, Complications of Prematurity, Gastric Tube Feeding, Chronic Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, Tracheostomy, Diabetes.

WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER?

Pediatric nursing care, Nutrition Program (Breakfast, Lunch and Snack), Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Educational Programs, Program for children who attend school and receives therapy and homework help in the afternoon. Educational and Recreational Activities (Art, Music, etc.), Transportation, Locateable Doctor, Parent / Caregiver Education.

WHO PAYS FOR THESE SERVICES?

PPEC services are covered by Medicaid, once referred by the child's pediatrician or specialist through a prescription or letter of medical necessity.
